At this year’s GaLaBau in Nuremberg, the green sector came together for the first time in four years. Gum-tech® was among the 1,102 exhibitors who held onto their reservations—and it paid off. Rarely has GaLaBau been as dynamic and energetic as it was this year. With the show’s central theme, “Moving Forward Together Toward a Climate-Resilient Future,” our booth drew significant attention from professionals across the industry.
The Green Industry Reunites
Recycling and sustainability were core discussion points at our 100 m² booth. Additional focus areas included automation, inventory capacity, and—of course—our patent-protected systems. At a large demonstration table, distributors, landscape contractors, and municipal staff had the opportunity to explore the Hexagon® principle and the 3D interlock technology behind our Puzzle Mat 3D® system.
Key Topics
A major trend in recent years also reached our stand this year: outdoor calisthenics. Together with our partner Tolymp from Hasbergen, we showcased the rapidly growing calisthenics outdoor sport to the GaLaBau audience. At Gum-tech®, we actively support this new market segment and share our extensive knowledge gained from our indoor fitness flooring products with customers entering this field.
A New Trend Arrives
We are already looking forward to GaLaBau 2024, taking place from September 11–14. With new products and fresh partnerships in development, we are preparing for a sector in transition. As always, our customers can expect comprehensive insights in Nuremberg—not only into safety surfacing, but also into the planning, construction and long-term care of urban spaces, green areas, free spaces, sports facilities and playgrounds.
