The Puzzle Mat 3D® is the easiest-to-install rubber tile in Germany and, as a result, one of the most popular products in our portfolio. Since demand continued to rise even during the COVID period, we made the decision to fully automate our production equipment. Automation offers two major advantages: First, it significantly reduces production errors — and with them unnecessary material waste. Second, automated machinery uses energy far more efficiently, which is a substantial benefit in times of energy scarcity. Overall, the automation of our production lines plays a key role in our Green Choice environmental initiative.
Another important factor involves the current price fluctuations in raw materials and energy. With automated systems, we can pre-produce larger inventory volumes and maintain stable pricing over extended periods — even when the market becomes volatile.
