International Expansion at FSB Cologne

This year’s FSB in Cologne (October 28–31) once again served as the central meeting point for the international play, sports, and recreation industry — and provided the perfect stage to present the Product Partner concept to a global audience for the very first time. For Gum-tech®, the event marked an important milestone as we took the next steps toward internationalizing our patented systems. Conversations throughout the show made it clear how strong the global demand for innovative, durable solutions has become — and how crucial it now is to make our developments available beyond the German-speaking market.

A Successful Trade Show Appearance

We were able to rely on the support of long-standing partners who have shaped our work for many years. Together with our co-exhibitor ParkFit, we demonstrated directly at the booth what role a Product Partner plays and how valuable the close collaboration with experienced installation specialists and logistics experts can be. Equally important was the presence of our binder manufacturer Stockmeier, whose materials ensure the high quality of both the Puzzle Mat 3D® and the Grass Grid Hexagon®. The trade show reinforced our commitment to further strengthening this successful partnership in the years ahead.

Strong Partners at Our Side

One key takeaway from the in-depth discussions and overwhelmingly positive feedback at FSB: expertise must be shared deliberately. In response, we will be developing a dedicated training program for our patented products — available to both end customers and resellers. Through practical guidance, background information, and application-focused training, we aim to ensure that our systems are installed correctly and used to their full potential everywhere. This will establish a solid foundation for quality, efficiency, and long-term performance.

New Training Program

The exhibition also showcased how deeply established our patented solutions already are in the market. Companies such as Sport Atrium, Eibe, CustomBars, and KuKuk Box presented projects featuring our systems, demonstrating their versatility across a wide range of applications. The Puzzle Mat 3D® stood out in particular — its quick installation and removal offer major advantages for temporary setups. The strong response reaffirmed that our products not only deliver technical performance, but also make day-to-day operations significantly easier for our partners.
